EVENTFUL NIGHT!

Last night was Stephen's first night back on this shift, and talk about an eventful evening! First off the boys and I go outside to swim, and the top ring of our pool was almost totally deflated and was about to start leaking water. So I found the hole (where Toby had jumped on it or bit it, I'm not sure which) and aired it back up while Levi held his finger on the hole. Then I searched for our patches and couldn't find them, finally paged stephen and he got sidetracked and forgot to call me. Luckily in my search for the patches, I found the tape he had used before to cover a hole once before. So while I am doing all of this Venece called me, and I told her what was going on and she had Stephen paged for me again. then he called and said he didn't remember where they were, and just to make sure air wasn't leaking around the tape and it should be ok. So I put a few more strips over it, since it was hissing, and it seemed to hold fine then.
I didn't get in bed until after midnight last night. I got the boys in bed around 10:30pm (and of course Seth still got up before 7 this morning...arrhh!!!) But I went in our bathroom to get ready for bed, and what do I find? ANTS! Covering our countertops, and going up the corner wall by Stephen's sink. So I run and get the "home defense, indoor" spray and cleared the countertop and started spraying. I sprayed our whole bathroom, and bedroom, living room, boys bathroom, and kitchen. while spraying the kitchen, I was spraying a corner from bottom to top and some kind of bug had apparently been on the ceiling and it started flying at me, so I was spraying at it....and it got sprayed over to my curtains. Then it crawled in there! So I went and got a fly-swatter and tried to get it out, finally killed it and trashed it. then I had to clean up some of the "over-spray" from spraying at it while it was flying at me! haha... Then I had to go to our bathroom and clean all the dead ants off of the counters and walls. I finally got it all finished. The only rooms I didn't spray were the boys rooms and office, because they are sleeping and I didn't want them breathing that stuff while they are asleep, or risking the chance of waking them up.

Ok so why does this all have to happen to me on Stephen's first night on this new shift? This is not a good way to start this off! I am just PRAYING that tonight is UN-eventful! haha :)

Happy Father's Day! Father's day came and went without anything much going on. Seth woke up sick with a fever and congested. Then Stephen had to work, but he wasn't feeling well either. But the boys and I did make him cards that afternoon, and the boys also made him a cute little dog and cat out of pom-poms. They were so cute! I felt bad that we couldn't do something more for their Daddy on Father's day though. I hope he knows how much we love him, and how much we appreciate him.
Happy Father's Day!!!!
On Saturday Nana and Papa came over, and we took the boys to the Rainforest Cafe. They had a blast! At first Levi was scared, but he warmed up pretty quickly. Seth on the other hand, wasn't scared of anything! They had so much fun, and actually ate really well too. I was afraid they would be to distracted to eat, but ate good and enjoyed every minute of it. Then we had to go pick their cousin Haylee up from the airport. Levi made her sit beside him on the way back. Then they played in the pool when we got home. They had a big day! It was all Levi could talk about that evening.
Levi, standing at the entrance of the Rainforest Cafe, by the big elephant where you check-in at. He definitely liked the elephant better than the alligator! haha
Seth would stand by the elephant, but he wasn't going to trust it enough to look away from it! haha :)
Seth wasn't about to take his eyes off of this elephant! haha
Levi was having fun, can you tell?! haha He was "cheese-ing". haha
Seth was having so much fun, sitting by his Papa and watching all of the different animals making noise. He wasn't afraid of anything!
When we were leaving the Rainforest Cafe, we saw the Tree Frog again, so the boys stopped and let me take their picture with him. Levi actually wasn't afraid of him, I was shocked!
On our way out, we stopped and took the boys pictures with Nana and Papa, in front of this little waterfall. Levi and Seth were too busy watching the water, to look at the camera! haha Plus I think Levi was afraid that Alligator might be in there!
Levi was hanging onto Papa for dear life, talk about a death grip! haha

We went camping this past weekend. The following pictures are some that Aunt Michelle took. Thank you Aunt Michelle!!!!
Seth went on the tube with his Daddy.
Seth and Daddy, waving to Granny, at camp.
Levi went on the tube with Papaw first, but then he wanted to go all by himself!
Levi waving to Granny, up at camp.
Levi, in the tube all by himself. Don't you love the way he wears his goggles! :)

Mommy and Levi swimming in the lake.
Papaw and Seth, swimming in the Lake.

Camping!

We went camping up by Stephen's hometown, in Oklahoma. We had a wonderful time. (As you can tell from the pictures below.) Levi and Seth always love camping, but this time they were old enough to really have a lot of fun. Levi wanted to tube "all by myself". But after we got out there, he decided to go with Papaw first. After that, he said he wanted to do it all by himself. So we let him. He held on, and waved to us, to had so much fun! We created a little monster. He never wanted to stop! haha Seth wanted to try it by himself too, but I didn't think he was quiet old enough yet, and I was afraid that he would get scared and start crying. So he rode with one of us. They both had so much fun out there though. So did we. I loved getting to run with my handsome hubby...but talk about a drill sergent! I thought I was going to pass out!!!! haha Also Levi had his bicycle and we had to take bike rides every day. So by the time we got home, I was sore and tired and ready for a vacation to recover from my vacation! :)
Thank you Granny and Papaw, and Aunt Michelle, for a wonderful Camping trip. We love you all!

Papaw, letting Seth drive the boat back to camp. We had been out fishing.
Levi, wanting his picture taken.
My little cutie pie!
Daddy and the boys, walking down to get on the boat.
Levi was ready to go!
Levi LOVED tubeing. I think we created a Monster. He never wanted to stop!
That's Levi way out there, all by himself!
Levi was done tubeing. Papaw taught him to scrape his hand across his throat when he wanted us to stop. (he did that a lot, and we would ask him if he was done and he would say no! haha)
Seth wanted to go by himself, but the water was rough, and we were afraid he would get scared. So he went with Mommy.
Mommy and Seth, on the tube. We were having fun! Until we hit some pretty big waves, it scared Seth and he was DONE! haha
Seth, driving Papaw's boat! Doesn't he look like he is having fun!
See, I told you I knew how to Water Ski! :) Ok, so maybe I am not skilled enough to do tricks or anything, but just staying up on that rough water was a major accomplishment! haha It was definitely more "tubeing" weather!
Me, water skiing, still! haha I finally did a nose dive, because the water was so rough...but boy it was so much fun!!!!!
My handsome Hubby, driving the boat over to load it up on the trailer.
The boys were sitting on Papaw's Boat, while we were waiting for Papaw to get the trailer in the water for us to load it up. It was time to go home....which Levi wasn't very happy about. But we sidetracked him with the boat ride! :)
Levi and Seth again.....
Seth....pretending to ride the "sprinkler" tractor! haha
Levi the cowboy....
Levi a.k.a. Sheriff Woody from Toy Story!
