Levi's 4yr Well Visit

We took Levi to the Doctor on Tuesday, for his 4 year well checkup. He is growing Perfectly! He weighed 37lbs and is the 59%, and was 40 1/2 inches tall and is in the 53%. He also passed his hearing test, and vision test with perfect scores. He was so cute. He did everything the doctor asked him to. He really likes his doctor, and was such a big boy. He also got 4 shots, and now he has all of his immunizations so he can start school next year. His eyes got really big on the first shot, then the second he started to whimper, by the third he started crying, and after she finished the forth he stopped crying and was happy that it was over and he can go to school! :) He got a sucker, a sticker, and he also got to pick something out of the treasure chest.

By that evening his little legs were so sore! He could barely walk! He had two shots in each leg. That was also the day we worked up in McKinney ALL day long. He was a little trooper though. He enjoyed helping. By that night he was stiff though, and had trouble getting around. We left there right after midnight and he stayed awake the whole way home! I couldn't believe it! But then I gave him some medicine and a shower, and he was filling much better by bedtime. He is great now, but I do have to take him back for routine blood work. I dread that. I don't know how he will react to having blood drawn. Maybe it will just be a finger prick. We will see.

Levi is now 4 years old!

Did you know that Levi was born on my 25th birthday? We actually share the birthday of August 21. Well, he turned 4 on Monday...and you can do the math, I turned 29!

On our actual birthday we helped Daddy build cabinets up in McKinney for some friends of ours new business that will be opening soon. It has been great to spend so much quality time together working on this project lately. I will take some pictures this next week, and put them on here, so you can see what an amazing job he has done!

We celebrated Levi's birthday by having our families come visit on Saturday August 19th, and we had his party. He decided he wanted a Cowboy Birthday, so that is what we did. He LOVED it!

Thank you so much to Granny & Papaw, Aunt Michelle, Nana & Papaw, Uncle Chris & Aunt Trish, and Levi's cousins Samantha and Haylee, for all coming down to visit. We had so much fun, and we hope you did to. Thank you for the gifts, and especially for your time. We love each and every one of you so much!!!!

I don't have the pictures on here, but Granny and Papaw got Levi a "kitchen" for his birthday. It was a job putting it all together, but we got it and the boys LOVE it! It has kept them entertained everyday! They love cooking with Mommy, and Levi says he is a "Pampered Chef" and is doing his "Cooking Show"! haha :) I will get pictures of it on here soon.

I hope you all enjoy the birthday photo's below.......
Levi's "horse" cake. It was so cute, and went along with the "cowboy" theme perfectly.
Levi being silly for the camera...
Levi blowing out his 4 birthday candles. He thought that was so much fun that we had to do "again".
Here is our little "cowboys" on the weekend of Levi's 4th birthday party!
Seth, being cute! Daddy had to flank him, to finally catch him for this picture!
Daddy, making a sandwich for lunch, and "cheesing" for the camera. haha
Seth, eating his lunch. Levi was to excited to eat....so he patiently waited for us all to finish, so he could finally open presents.
Everybody had to be "cowboys" in celebration of the cowboy birthday party! :) Aint they cute!!!!
Mommy and Daddy got him a new cowboy belt and new cowboy shirts, so he immediately had to try them all on. He looked so cute!
Our little bandit! He said "give me a dollar"! haha
Look at that SMILE! It was exactly what he wanted. He picked it out in a magazine, and we got it for him. It is a cork rifle.
Nana and Papa got Levi a REAL cowboy lasso rope. He was so excited! He has been using it everday! He says he is a real cowboy now, and he begs his Daddy to go outside and rope with him everday. He said he would have to teach me! haha :)
Nana and Papa got him a "bull head" to practice his roping on...so hopefully he wont practice on his brother.
Levi was so excited, he got a "knight" dress up costume from his aunt michelle! Ever since we went to midevial (spelling?) times, he has been fascinated with it.
Levi and his cousin Samantha...she was helping him open the presents from her. Don't they look so cute!
Uncle Chris got Levi a fishing pole! He was so excited about going fishing!
Who Me? Nooo.....I wouldn't be stealing brother's toys.....

Camping!

We went camping this past weekend. We had a wonderful time, as you can tell from the pictures below. I hope you enjoy them!
Poor Papaw, Seth was wearing him out! haha
Papaw pushing Seth on his tractor. He can't quiet do it all by himself yet.
Stephen wearing all of Levi's cowboy stuff. haha He was chasing Levi and pretending to "shook" him off of his bike! Levi loved it. He would fall off, and I would come scoop him up and take him to the Doctor (Granny, who happens to be an RN), and then she would tickle him and say she was digging the bullets out. He would just laugh and laugh, and then want to do it all over again.
Levi, in his "Spiderman" underwear, "Spiderman" socks, and "Spiderman" sandals...notice a pattern here...haha
Seth playing in the tube, after we aired it up.
We were all waving "hello" to Daddy!
We were first to go on the tube. Then Levi wouldn't get out, so everyone else had to ride with him too. haha We had a great time!
Aunt Michelle's turn to tube with Levi.
Seth, while he was actually still awake.
Everyone had to ride with Levi, because he wasn't getting out! haha So this time it was Papaw's turn.
Seth, sitting in his "little seat" on the boat. He usually falls asleep to the hum of the motor. For some reason he never can stay awake when we are out on the boat.
Stephen and his Dad, riding the tube. They were trying to go back and forth across the wake. Stephen was using his arm as a rutter I guess....or maybe he was just trying to spray water all over himself and cool off! It was so hot. It was over 100 everyday. Talk about good weather for playing in the lake! :)
The boys didn't know what to do with this Superman Slip-n-Slide. So Daddy had to show them how to play on it! haha
Daddy went fast, and flew right over the end! haha He is so funny!
After Daddy showed them how, they got the hang of it! Oh, look you can see Papaw's ski boat in the background!
Stephen water skiing.
He really liked jumping over the wake. Here he was in the process of landing.
Stephen water skiing.
Levi liked to get out of the boat and swim, while the next person was getting ready to ski. He would hold onto the ski rope and beg Daddy to pull him in. He said he was "barefooting" haha
Seth, swimming in the lake with Papaw.
Aunt Michelle made a Birthday Cake for Granny while we were camping. She let the boys come over and decorate it. They had so much fun! (It was hard to keep them from eating all of the icing though! haha)
Seth even impressed himself! haha He is saying "oh Wow!"
Here is Granny's birthday cake, after the boys finished decorating it! Isn't it pretty!!! Granny thought it was the best cake ever! :)
The boys finally got to eat the cake they helped decorate for Granny! Boy were they Happy!
