Which one is the real Spiderman?

I couldn't resist getting a picture of them in their matching Spiderman PJ's. The pair Seth has on were a hand me down from Levi. The at Christmas, Levi got a bunch of hand-me-downs from my Cousin Taran's son, Jared. Aren't they cute? Seth is such a Ham! haha

Painting

I finally got sick and tired of the ugly wallpaper in the boys bathroom. So I got motivated and actually painted this week. It turned out really cool! We went to Home Depot and got some Ralph Lauren "Suede" paint. It was expensive, but so worth it. It really does look amazing in there.

We are now going to see if we can find some cool "cowboy" towel holders and stuff to decorate with, and I will post some pictures of it after I get it all done.

Hope ya'll like it as much as I do. :)
Oops...you can still see my painter's tape around the wall...I haven't got around to pulling it off yet. Stephen has to re-caulk everything once I do...so I guess I am waiting for his day off to get to that part of the project! haha

Handyman!

We have been couped up in this house since Friday evening! Stephen and Levi did run out Sunday evening to get some quick "groceries" since we were running out of everything.

Since we have had nothing to do, my Handyman fixed some things around the house. My treadmill has been broken for about 2 months, and he fixed it!!! Yea!!! Then my recliner has been broken for a week or so, so he fixed that too! Yea!!! It has been really nice to have him home with us, while it has been so icky outside. I know the boys have loved having his undivided attention for so many days straight.

So since he fixed my treadmill, I decided to jump on it last night. I ran for the first time in a couple of months. I have been doing my elliptical, but wow what a difference running is. After 1 mile, I felt like I was going to die. Plus I still have to do my weight training. So I stumbled into our weight room and fell onto the floor and threw my feet up. I literally felt like I was going to be sick! Yuck! So I laid there and caught my breath, thinking "Lord, how am I going to do weights now? I feel sick!" Then Stephen came over and said "here, maybe this will give you some motivation". He put his I-Pod Nano on me, and it started playing "Eye of the Tiger" and wow, talk about motivation. It got me up and moving and I was doing weight training like I had never felt sick. Amazing!

After my weight training, I was shaking....and I come out of the Workout room to find Stephen cutting Levi's hair! haha Talk about a shock! But the funny thing is that Levi will sit still for his Daddy to cut his hair, and he cries when I do it. Crazy kid! So after he gets finished, I have to cut Seth's hair (he is in the chair saying "me turn"). So here I am shaking so bad I can barely hold the scissors and I am cutting my baby's hair. Luckily all went well, and I didn't cut him. Praise the Lord! He does look much better now. Their hair was getting so long we could almost make a ponytail! haha

Oh...and while I was at Leadership Summit in Dallas, the boys stayed with my parents for 3 nights! They had so much fun. I don't know if they really wanted to come home or not. But I know Papa was probably relieved to finally have a break! haha They can definitely wear you out. Levi talked my head off most of the way home, until he fell asleep. They sure did have fun!!!

Wonderful Christmas, and a Very Happy New Year!

We had a wonderful Christmas. I could not have asked for a better day. Stephen is such an amazing gift giver, he always gets me the most perfect gifts. The boys loved their gifts too. Seth was so excited that he ran in and woke us up because "Santa ate his cookies, and drank his juice" (actually it was eggnog). Then he ran to wake up his brother, but made a detour when he saw their new little police motorcycles sitting by the tree. He came running as fast as he could and told us "Santa brought me Motorcycle!" he was so excited and happy, it was so fun to watch him. Finally we got Levi woke up, and he joined in on the fun. He loved opening presents! We had a wonderful day, and had so much fun playing with the kids that we totally forgot about the Cowboys game...we never even turned on the TV that day. It was such an amazing, and wonderful day!

On New Years Eve, I took the boys to my parents and they stayed the night with them. (This was the boys FIRST night away from home, without us with them). I came home and we went to a Phillips, Craig, and Dean concert with some friends of ours who had tickets. It was so much fun! If you ever get a chance to go to one of their concerts, I highly recommend it. We went to dinner, and then after the concert we went out for dessert and coffee. We "brought in the new year", and then were later kicked out of the restaurant because they were ready to close! haha We didn't get home until after 2am, and couldn't believe we were actually going to get to sleep in, for the first time in over 4 years. Wouldn't you know, we still woke up by 9am! haha My parents brought the boys home, and Stephen and I had been working on re-arranging furniture and re-decorating the house. It feels so great to finally get things organized and looking nice. (We actually finished cleaning out and arranging things that we haven't been through, since we moved over a year ago! haha) It is so much more relaxing and enjoyable now.

It has been a wonderful and productive start to a New Year!

We put lollipops in the boys stockings. That was the first thing the boys opened, and it was the only thing Seth wanted. He didn't even want to open his other presents! haha...and he actually didn't finish opening presents until the next day. He would open one and play with it forever, and not want to open anything else! haha

This is the only picture I got at my Nanny's house. The batteries in our digital Camera died, and we had to use our other camera.

My parents gave us wonderful gifts for Christmas. My Daddy built us a picture frame for the boys cowboy picture! Yea! I LOVE this! It is something I will be able to keep forever, and it is something my Daddy made with his own two hands.
He also gave me a binder labeled "The story of Me". He has been working on this for the past few years, though I never knew about it. It was a story of his life; his memories growing up, meeting my Mom, having us kids, and his calling into the ministry. It also was filled with pictures of relatives from long ago, and also our ancestry on the "Sanders" side. It goes back 6 generations! Talk about amazing!
I will cherish these gifts for the rest of my life, and eventually pass them on to my own children, and on down through the generations.
Thanks Mom and Dad!

Levi was so excited to get "Cars", he watches this movie all the time.

Seth was holding the book for his new TJ Bearytales to read to him. It was so cute! They love their new bears. We read with them everyday.

My handsome little boy, showing off his new clothes. Isn't he a cutie. Seth and Levi got all dressed up because we were going to go have lunch with Nana and Papa and then celebrate Christmas with them.
