My little clean freak

OK, Levi is literally turning into his Daddy. this cabinet of videos was a total disaster. He sat there for a long time (I thought he was trying to find a movie he wanted to watch). He pulled out all of the movies, and rearranged them in a nice orderly fashion. He came and said "Mom, come look, I have a surprise for you". He then showed me this totally nice, organized cabinet of movies. he said "Now I have room for NEW movies!" haha
He is such a little sweet heart!

New Picture!

Here is a New Picture of my new hair style. It is actually growing on me now (no pun intended! haha). Venece told me what styling products to use and how to fix it, and I am liking it much better now. Yea! :)
Whatcha think? Any better?

Muddy Little Boys

Boys will be Boys right?! They came in from playing outside last night, and Levi said "Dad, look what Seth just did to my back!" We told him he must have sat there and "let" Seth do that. he got a goofy grin on his face then. I figured this was one of those "boys" moments, so I took their pictures. :)

Here is Seth. he was so proud of his muddy little self. We put them straight in the shower!

We're speedin' now!!!

Stephen got on my computer the other day, and was commenting on how "slow" the dial up connection was. I told him I live with that everyday, and how frustrating it is. Plus our phone line was messed up and was full of static. Half the time I couldn't even dial-up because it couldn't find a dial tone, due to the excessive static.

So we decided it was time to upgrade. We went to Circuit City, they were having a sale on laptops. I got a brand new Toshiba Satellite laptop for only $399!!! can you believe that?! Then we got signed up for a Verizon Wireless PC Card. This gives us access to the Internet from anywhere, on my laptop! It is so amazing! I can now take my laptop to my shows, out of town, or even camping with us and submit shows right from the lake! wow! This is going to be such a time saver.

Plus our connection is Smokin' Fast! this is even faster than the DSL we used to have at our old house, before we moved out into the middle of nowhere and could no longer have it. :)

Thank you Stephen! You have saved me so much time (no longer waiting on dial up, and pages to load, e-mail to download or send). This is so amazing!!!!

Oh, and now that we have this, I cancelled our home phone. We never used it for anything except to have dial-up. all of our friends and family are long distance, so we use our cell phones. Just by cancelling the home phone and the dial up service, I am actually saving money every month by having the wireless service! (the wireless service is cheaper than my home phone and dial up were). Yippy!!!!

So if you need to call us now, you will have to call us on our cell phones.
Oh and my e-mail address is changing also. I will send you my new e-mail address soon.
Love you all,
Kandy

Before/After

Ok, let's talk Extreme Makeover. :) haha

I had Venece do my hair for me on Monday. I was sick of my long, straight, lifeless hair. So I made a decision to go for a drastic change and chop it all off, SHORT! Stephen has always wanted me to chop it all off short, so I thought "well, it is summer, so if i am ever going to do it, now is the time". Then I thought "if I don't at least try it, I will never know if I will like it". So I told Venece to chop it, before I could change my mind.

Stephen likes it. I am still trying to decide if I like it or not. I think I just need to get used to it. But I can't wait for it to grow out some. Right now I am not "loving it"....I am like "what's done is done, it will grow, and at least my hair grows really fast".

Before: (ok, so now you know who Seth gets his "cheese" from! haha I had Stephen take this picture before we went to Chuck-E-Cheese on Saturday.)

After: this was right before I went to my cooking show last night...I wore the same shirt, so I would get a good Before/After picture. :)

Ok, so give me your "HONEST" opinion.... What do you think?

Was it better before or after? Long or Short?

Fun Night!

We took the boys to Chuck-E-Cheese the other night. They had so much fun! I took my camera in with me, and took a few pictures....

Here is Levi and Seth, riding a few of the rides, while Daddy is looking bored! haha :)
Here, Seth is riding a "roller coaster". He was smiling from ear to ear, and screaming when it would go down, just as if he was on a real coaster. It was so cute, I had to take a picture.

Levi, playing Air Hockey. He said this was his favorite game.

I was helping Seth play Air Hockey with Levi.

Seth, once we got home. They had enough tickets to get this soft spiky ball, and 4 Spiderman tattoos. Well, on the way home, I made Levi share the ball with his brother. Next thing I know I hear "splash". I whip around in my seat and am looking at Seth. He is holding a deflated ball, and his clothes are soaked with water and glitter! I took the ball from him, hoping to fix it when we got home (the plug had come out of it). Well, I filled it back up with water, but the plug will not stay in now. So it has become a bathtub toy. Oh well. They loved the Spiderman Tattoos. :)

Happy Father's Day!!!!!!

Saturday, June 16, 2007

While Daddy was at work, the boys and I took his Truck to Lowes and bought him a Tree for Father's Day. It was a 30 gallon Live Oak. Lowes was have a "half-price" sale on trees, so I got a REALLY good deal! YEA!!!!! Thank you Lord! I really wanted this 30 gallon Live Oak but couldn't afford it, so I had settled on getting the 10 gallon. I got up there to checkout and the lady said, did you not like the big ones out front? I said "Yea, but I didn't like the price tag". She said "Oh, but they are ALL on sale for half-price!" I was shocked! So of course I got the big one that I originally wanted! Yea!!!
Stephen came home from work, and jumped out of his car. He said "hey, somebody put a tree in the back of my truck!" Levi ran to him and yelled "Happy Father's Day!" :) It was so cute, and we actually suprised Daddy! Yea!!!!
In this picture, Daddy is looking at the tree hanging out of the back of his truck and telling Levi thank you!

Daddy is giving Levi a BIG hug, thanking him for his Father's Day Present. :)
Levi was so excited that he "suprised" Daddy! He kept our secret, and didn't tell Daddy what we were going to get him. Yea Levi!!!

Daddy got right to work!

I told Daddy I was sorry about making him work, due to his Father's Day gift. But he said it was the good kind of work, and he was more than happy to do it.
He was so excited, he planted it right away, while I worked on getting dinner on the table. I went out to help, around getting things in/out of the oven. I made him BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches, from scratch! (thank you for the recipe Tami! He loved it!!!) :)
We ran to the store to buy some Father's Day Cards, and groceries. When we walked in, they had these cakes by the front, all decorated up for Father's Day. Well, the boys spotted this one, and just had to have it for Daddy. (they LOVE cake!) haha
Levi wanted this cake, because it had a badge on it. :)

Yum!

The boys were drooling over the cake, and couldn't wait for us to cut it! haha

Monday Night's Meeting

This is my Best Friend in TX, Stefanie. She is also my recruiter and soon to be Director! Yea Stefanie!!! (She has now signed 5 consultants, and when they all become "active", she will be a PC Director!!!!)

We sat together at the Luau. We hadn't seen each other since May's meeting, so we had a lot of catching up to do. We used to go to church together (which is how we met), and since we have moved so far away from that church and are trying to find a new church home we don't get to see each other as much anymore. But we talk on the phone a lot, and try to get together when we can. Our boys are best friends also. She has 2 boys and so do I. Levi is only 3 months older than her oldest boy, and then Seth is 6 months older than her youngest boy. So these four love playing together! We love it to, because that gives us a chance to catch up with each other.

Congratulations Stefanie!!!! I am so happy for you!!!! You will be walking across the stage at National Conference as a NEW DIRECTOR!!!!
Love ya,
Kandy

Monthly Business Meeting -Summer Luau

We had our Monthly meeting last night. It was a Summer Luau. It was so much fun. Stefanie took this picture of me.

Trifle Bowl Centerpiece

At our monthly business meeting, we had a Trifle Bowl Centerpiece Contest.

I didn't win of course, but I put to much work into it not to show it off! haha :)
Also, you can't see it in this picture, but it has "soft mints" under these candles (holding them up) and they had American Flags on the wrappers.

Tuckered Out!

Seth was one tired little boy! We had played in the pool, and the boys hadn't had naps. I was getting ready for my meeting, and Seth said he was going to go get ready. I noticed he was being very quiet, so I went to check. This is how I found him! haha

I scooped him up and put him in the van, to take the boys to their Daddy. He slept through me moving him, and the whole 30 minutes that it took to get to Daddy's work.

Row your boat

Levi and Seth got a blow up boat for the pool. Levi uses his plastic shovel as an ore! It is so cute! haha

Playing ball

Before they did the awards, everyone ate pizza and then the kids played.

After they did the awards, the kids ate cupcakes and ice cream and then played some more. Levi loves playing baseball so much!

T-Ball Pizza Party and Trophy night!

Levi had a T-Ball Pizza Party and awards night, last night. He has so much fun!

They drew names. When his name was called, he got to pick out a box. Inside was the trophy, along with a number. Whatever number was inside, matched the number of a prize that he would win. His number matched an autographed baseball glove! He was so excited!

Here is my proud little baseball players. He got his trophy and he also won an autographed Baseball Glove! He was so excited!
Seth really enjoyed the Cupcakes! :)

Swim or Sit?

Seth wasn't sure if he wanted to swim or not. After I got in, he decided he would swim, if he could hold my hand. After I got him used to the water, he started swimming back and forth, to me and Daddy. It didn't take him very long, and he was swimming all over the pool. He loves it now!

Finally swimming

Later Tuesday afternoon, we finally got the boys in the pool.

Levi loves swimming. He was all over the pool, and begs to get in everyday now. I think he would live in it if I let him. The only time he wants out is to eat! haha

In this picture, he was using my floaty as his boat. Then he was using the net as his ore! haha He was having a blast.

Oh, and yesterday he wanted to swim like me. So I took his Life jacket off (we had these from when we go to the lake), and tried to teach him how to swim without it. He was trying really hard, and wearing himself out. I think he will have the hang of it before to long.

Is anyone going to swim?

The boys wanted to swim, until the got outside and felt of the water. It was about 80 degrees, but they still thought it was cold. Of course it was about 9:30 in the morning. I finally got out there, and just jumped in. It was cool, but not bad. Then Levi actually got in with me, but Seth wanted no part of it! haha I helped Stephen get the steps in the pool, and get them weighted down, and the outer ladder attached.

Then Stephen had court that afternoon and I got the boys down for a nap. Then I went out, with my float and a book, and laid in the pool and read. It was so relaxing! Wow! I wish I could do that everyday. I laid out there reading, and the only thing I heard was birds tweeting, crickets chirping, and the water churning (from the skimmer). It was so nice!

Weekend

The boys and I went to visit my parents this weekend. We had a wonderful time! When we got there Friday, we went with Dad and met Mom for lunch. After lunch, Dad took the boys to run errands with him, and Mom took me for my very FIRST Pedicure!!!!! It was so much fun, and so relaxing. We were able to sit next to each other, and visit, while being pampered. It was GREAT! They not only scrubbed our feet, and made our toes pretty, they also wrapped them in hot towels, and gave us hot rock massages on our legs. It was amazing. My feet and legs were totally relaxed and tingly, and I had pretty toes! :) Thanks Mom!

Saturday we took the boys over to have their pictures made. They turned out SO CUTE! I can't wait for them to come in.

Then that evening, the boys helped Papa fix a few areas of his fence, and then helped him load the old wood into the back of his truck...See the pictures below.

Sunday, we went to Nana and Papa's church. Levi begged to wear his suit, so he could be just like Papa. Here is a picture of the boys, on stage with Nana and Papa. They love getting to go on stage, up in front of everyone. :)

Thank you again Nana and Papa. We had a wonderful time!
