Coco's Dr. Visit

Took Coco to the Vet on Monday afternoon, to make sure she really was up to date on all of her shots, and that she was healthy.
He said she had a tiny infection in her ears, which could be due to allergies, or from being wet inside. He said to try to keep her ears dry, and he also gave us some antibiotics to put in her ears.
He weighed her and said she was right at 2lbs, and is a perfect healthy puppy. He also commented on how calm and sweet she was while he was doing the examination, and while showing me how to put the medicine in her ears. She was the perfect little patient.
I take her back this Friday for more shots.

This Friday is going to be a busy day. It's mine and Levi's birthday, but we have to take Levi to the doctor that morning, for a well-visit. Then that afternoon I have to take Seth to the school, to meet the teacher, and turn in all of his school supplies. Then later that afternoon we have to take Coco to the Vet for shots. After all of this, we have to get the house ready for the birthday party on Saturday. Whew! I'm tired just thinking about it! LOL! Stephen has to work Friday, so he wont even be here to help...it's going to be a busy day.

Here are a few pictures of Miss Coco,....

On the way home, the day we got her:

Eating dinner. Her food dish is as big as she is. She puts her front feet in her dish, so she can reach her food! LOL!

Her and Toby are best friends. Does this picture show you just how tiny she is, compared to Toby?! He looks out for her when she is outside though, and tries to protect her. They have fun playing together!

Here she is, playing tug-of-war with Toby's tail. He is such a good dog! He loves playing with her too, and when he gets tired of her, he just shakes her off. LOL!

Birthday Gift

Today, my sweet handsome hubby went ahead and got me my birthday present a week early (technically only 6 days early)...which he let me pick out. :-)

Here she is: My very own "baby girl"!!!! Lord knows I'm not going to have any more babies, so this is the next best thing.

I'm totally outnumbered by boys. My husband, two boys, a boy dog, and a boy cat..so it was time for a little girl.

I'm thinking Her name may be Coco. (Levi's idea: due to her color, and her little marshmallow looking streaks of white...then a friend of mine said "yea Coco! like Coco Chanel..all high faultin' " LOL! :-)

Isn't she a doll?!!?!!! She is a Yorkie-Poo! Her mother was 1/2 Yorkie, 1/2 Toy Poodle, and her father was 100% Toy Poodle. They said she will only get to about 4-5 lbs total. She is at 1lb 12oz right now. She is 2 months old: born on June 12th.

Here is a close up of her. Isn't she adorable!!!! Momma's baby girl!!!!

Okay, so I can't leave my boys out; so here are some pics of them too (that we took yesterday).
I think most all of you know, but my oldest Son, Levi, was born on my 25th birthday. So we share our birthday, and it is super special. (He can never forget his mom's birthday either, ever! LOL!)
Here is a picture of us together....
Why is he wearing a coat in the middle of August, in Texas of all places you may ask...
Well, it was raining outside, and he had been out there playing, and using this as a rain coat, because it is slick.

Of course we can't leave Seth out either. :-)

I'm baaaaaaaack!!!!

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything. We've been busy enjoying life, and summer. :-)
Our boys were out of town, visiting my parents, and then Stephen's parents, during July. They were gone for 3 full weeks! During which we enjoyed going on dates with each other, and accomplishing things here around the house that we've been wanting to clean/organize/etc. It was a great month of July! Stephen and I also celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary in July. It's hard to believe we've been married 13 years already. Wow! Time flies when you're having fun.

We took the boys to Six Flags, in between them visiting my parents, and then Stephen's parents. Stephen's parents and sister went with us to Six Flags. We had so much fun! Levi even rode the Judge Roy Scream! I couldn't believe it! He loved it, and rode it twice. Then he also rode the indoor roller coaster, called Runaway Mountain. He was so brave! Seth didn't ride as much as his brother, but hopefully he will get braver, as he gets older.

We went camping a few weekends ago, and Levi water skied like a little pro! He is so addicted to water skiing and tubing. He loves being in the water! We love it too, so it's fun to share these experiences with the boys each summer, and watch them learn and enjoy these sports as much as we do.

School will be starting back on the 24th! Woo-hoo!!!! Seth gets to go to Kindergarten this year!!!!! I'll miss spending the days with my baby boy, but it will be great for being able to get my work done quicker each day.

Levi and I will be having our birthday on the 21st! We are busy planning his party, and he can't wait!

August is a full, busy month, and we are enjoying every minute of it!

Kate and Jen, thanks for checking in on me! Y'all are the best! I'll try not to take as long of a break between posts now that things are getting back to normal.
