Valentine's Day

While I was gone working all day on Saturday, my hubby helped my boys make this for me. It was such a cute surprise to come home to. This was way better than any card or gift, knowing they were thinking of me, and wanting to surprise me, is the sweetest gift.

While I was gone, my hubby cut the boys hair. They begged for Mohawks and he gave it to them! Yikes! LOL! But they did look pretty cute. We cut them off last night, before they had to go back to school today. But they loved it while they had them.

Valentines Day, the boys gave us some handmade cards (to cute!), and we gave them some little football hearts with crispy chocolates inside, and some red hearts filled with skittles. They were THRILLED! LOL!
We went to church, then out to eat for lunch, and then off to Target to buy groceries for the week. The boys also had $20 from granny (for v-day) that was burning a hole in their pockets and they couldn't wait to spend it. LOL!

Snow Pictures

The boys LOVED the snow! We got around 10 inches! The weather man said we haven't had this much snow in North Texas since 1978. Wow!

Snowball fight anyone?! LOL!

My little snow angel!

They had fun on the trampoline with all the snow too.

Coco wasn't so sure if she really liked this stuff or not. It kept getting stuck in her hair. She had huge balls of snow frozen onto her hair. She couldn't walk through it, it was so deep, she just had to leap through it! LOL!

Here is a picture of coco, right before I took her in to give her a warm bath to get all the snow off of her. It was literally frozen to her hair. She could barely walk, from all the snow that was stuck to her.

Massage....Ahhhhh...

Boys are feeling much better and back at school. Yea!!!! Of course they shared with me, and I was sick Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I felt better yesterday, still have a lingering sore throat, but no more fever at least.

Yesterday I had to go do a few appraisals bright and early, so while I was out, I stopped and cashed in my gift certificate for a 1 1/2 hour massage (from my sweet mother in law). Yea!!! It was BLISS! The massage table was heated, and it felt so good and warm. It was a full body massage, and she put extra time/focus on all these knots in my shoulders, back, and neck. I've been sore/tight in these areas since yesterday afternoon. It was so knotted up...I could literally feel these knots bursting or something, and once they did, it felt so much better. I've been downing water like crazy, to flush out all of these toxins. Needless to say, I totally enjoyed my relaxation time. I needed it! :-) Thank you again Granny!!!!!!

Strep Throat X2

I took Levi to the doctor today because he started running a mild fever again last night. Turns out, he has strep throat, a cold, and pink eye! Geesh! So we have both boys home from school today, taking antibiotics, doing eye drops, nasal cleanings, and pumping fluids.
I'm just praying that Stephen and I don't get it. Please pray that we wont! We can't afford to get sick. We need to work extra to pay for doctor visits and prescriptions.
At least Seth seems to be feeling better and has been fever free today. He should be able to go back to school tomorrow, if he continues to be fever free today. They said Levi should be feeling good and able to go back on Friday...hopefully so!

Strep Throat

Stephen took Seth to the doctor, while I'm here working on Appraisal reports. Seth has Strep throat...again. Poor guy. He just had this in December. But his teacher said they have 5 other students out with Strep right now also. Geesh!
He got some antibiotics, and the doctor said he should be feeling better and able to go back to school on Thursday (if fever free for 24 hrs).
Say a prayer for our little guys! Hopefully he doesn't share this with his brother...

Sick Kids...

Still have a sick kid at home, but now it's the other one. It's like they are trading it back and forth or something. Seth started with a fever Sunday night, and had a fever all day yesterday and this morning. Going to try and take him to the doctor later today.

Stephen was off yesterday so he stayed home with Seth while I worked. When I got home and they were laying down for a nap. So, while they napped, I ran, 9 miles! Woo-Hoo!!! I felt 100% better after that. When I finished, Stephen had gone and got Levi from school, and even cooked Dinner! Wow! I love that Man! After we ate dinner together, Stephen and Levi went to play basketball with some friends. I stayed home with Seth and played board games. :)
